Economía Política Neoclásica y la América Latina una mirada a la bibliografía

Since the beginning of the economic science, politics and economics have been closely related. The study of the interaction between these two fields has originated what we know today as political economy. However, political economy is a broad field that includes a wide range of school of thought that it would be impossible to discuss in one article. The present work gives a revision of the literature focusing in the main contributions that neoclassical political economy has made to the understanding of governmental behavior. Special emphasis is given to the discussion of examples of neoclassical political economy applied to Latin American countries.
